　　Pre-conditions 

　　Qualification certificates for accounting practitioners (AQCs) shall be renewed every 6 years.

　　Applicants shall apply to the pertinent administrative authority for the renewal of AQCs within six months preceding the expiration of the certificates.

　　Documentation

　　Applicants for the renewal of AQCs shall fill out an Accounting Practitioners Information Sheet for Renewal of Qualification Certificate and submit the valid ID card and the expiring certificate to the pertinent administrative authority.

　　If an applicant has delegated a proxy to submit an application on his or her behalf, a Letter of Delegation and the valid ID card of the proxy will also be required.

　　Procedures

　　1. Application. Applicants or their proxy shall submit necessary documentation to the administrative authority at the designated address.

　　2. Acceptance. The administrative authority shall accept and check the documentation submitted by applicants.   

　　3. Review. The administrative authority shall review the documentation to decide whether the applicants meet the Preconditions for certificate renewal.

　　4. Renewal. The administrative authority shall issue the new AQC.

　　Deadlines

　　The administrative authority shall issue the new AQC within ten working days after an application is accepted.
