II. General public budget expenditures

From Jan. to April 2023, the general public budget expenditures of Shanghai Municipality amounted to RMB 346.15 billion, up 16.3% year on year. Expenditures have met budgetary goals better in prioritized areas such as culture and tourism, commercial services, and science and technology.
