During the nine months from Jan. to Sept. 2012, the local government revenues of Shanghai Municipality amount to RMB 301.33 billion, up 7.2% in annual terms, and accounting for 81.3% of the revenues goal for 2012.  

This year the local government revenues of Shanghai have grown steadily quarter by quarter. Meanwhile, the structure of revenues has improved. The revenues contributed by the service sectors such as banking, insurance, leasing and business services and commerce have shown a stable and robust rise, and contributed about 70% of Shanghai’s total government revenues.
