From Jan. to July 2023, the general public budget revenues of Shanghai Municipality totaled RMB 555.09 billion, up 17% year on year.
II. General public budget expenditures
From Jan. to July 2023, the general public budget expenditures of Shanghai Municipality totaled RMB 482.89 billion, up 8.5% year on year. Expenditures have met budgetary goals better in prioritized areas such as education, science and technology, social security, and employment.
