From Jan. to Apr. 2021, the general public budget revenues of Shanghai Municipality amounted to RMB 322.78 billion, up 21.5% annually. Fiscal revenues continued to grow steadily.

II. General public budget expenditures

From Jan. to Apr. 2021, the general public budget expenditures of Shanghai amounted to RMB 253.02 billion, down 1.8% on an annual basis. Priority was given to key areas such as resource exploration and industry information collection, public safety, social security and employment promotion.
