In the first quarter of 2021, the general public budget revenues of Shanghai Municipality amounted to RMB 227.03 billion, up 13.2% annually. Fiscal revenues remained stable.

II. General public budget expenditures

In the first quarter of 2021, the general public budget expenditures of Shanghai amounted to RMB 188.05 billion, down 7.3% on an annual basis. Goals of budget spending on agriculture, forestry and aquaculture, transportation, resource exploration and industrial information have performed better.
