From Jan. to May 2021, the general public budget revenues of Shanghai Municipality amounted to RMB 407.73 billion, up 20.3% annually. Fiscal revenues recovered.

II. General public budget expenditures

From Jan. to May 2021, the general public budget expenditures of Shanghai Municipality amounted to RMB 295.83 billion, down 1.9% on an annual basis. Priority was given to key areas including resource exploration, industrial information and social security.
